A Legacy Carried Across State Lines

In 2022, Kathleen Laskowski Myers brought her father's 1979 founding vision to Massachusetts β€” extending four decades of compassionate, family-centered mental health care to Acton and the surrounding communities.

Decades of Growth
Building a Community of Healers
Over the years, he grew the practice into a multi-clinician team, expanding services to children, adolescents, and families across Connecticut with evidence-based, compassionate care.
The Next Generation
Kathleen Myers Steps Into Leadership
His daughter Kathleen Laskowski Myers β€” holding a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership Psychology β€” became Executive Director, carrying those founding values into a new era of growth.
2022 β€” Massachusetts
The Legacy Expands
Under Kathleen's leadership, FRA opened its Massachusetts office in Acton β€” bringing the same trusted, family-centered mental health services that have served Connecticut for over four decades.

Every family that walks through our doors carries a unique story. Our role is not to judge that story, but to help write its next chapter β€” one of healing, understanding, and hope.
