The individualized format provides a safe and supportive environment to explore unique life experiences and work toward personal growth.
Comprehensive Diagnostic Evaluations: Family Resource Associates (FRA) offers comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for adolescents. An evaluation can assess any of the following:
In collaboration with the referral source, an experienced FRA clinician begins by establishing clear goals and evaluation questions to be answered as a result of the evaluation. The clinician then conducts a series of sessions with the youth, family members, and designated collateral resources to gather information; as well as access and review of necessary records from educators and treatment providers so that a clear narrative of the youth can be created. Using this data, and data collected from administered standard measures, the clinician can formulate a diagnosis, treatment recommendations, and future risk if needed.
Having a historical and current narrative of the youth including family system, medical, and academics, as well as an accurate diagnosis, understanding of risk to self or others, and treatment recommendations allows for more timely and meaningful treatment of that youth.
